El chico que nos atendió se llamaba Jeffrey, encantador, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. En nuestro caso alquilamos un Toyota Corolla y el único "problemita" que tuvimos fue que se estropeó la batería, cuando sucedió nos encontrábamos en Samaná a unos 400km de Punta Cana. Llamamos a Jeffrey y tardó menos de una hora en gestionar el problema, apareció un señor con una batería nueva. Cambió la batería y no sólo eso, revisó todo el coche para asegurarse que todo estaba correcto. No nos cobró ni un solo peso. Otro aspecto importante fue que perdimos el vuelo, al no tener a nadie de confianza en este maravilloso país, decidí contactar con Jeffrey, él se encargó de buscarnos un hotel y de gestionar la reserva, así también el transporte de ida y vuelta al eropuerto.! Is there any booking cancellation fee?
There is NO cancellation fee if you do it three days before the reservation date. Otherwise, a fee will apply that will depend on the vehicle to be rented.
Can someone else drive my rental car?
Yes. Anyone who is going to drive the rental car must be present and added to the rental agreement as an additional driver when you pick up the car. There may be a charge for each additional driver. The Car bookings cover only one driver. The rate for additional drivers will be determined by the car rental agency at the time of pick-up.
Please note that any additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a credit card in their name.
Can I change my pick-up or drop-off time?
Sure, however, we can only guarantee the rate quoted for the pre-agreed booking. We normally give you an additional 2 hours without penalty to return the vehicle. Thereafter, a fee of US$10 will apply for each hour of delay.
If you will keep the car for more days, it is preferable to make a new reservation without penalty. You must do this well in advance so that the agency can make the necessary adjustments.
What is the speed limit in Punta Cana?
The limit on highways is 97 km/h (60 miles per hour). In urban areas, the limit is 50 km/h (32 miles per hour).
Can I return the car early and get a partial refund?
We do not have partial refunds. Our reserves are flat and final. Your account will be charged the full price displayed, regardless of whether the reservation is used. This is how agencies best manage their unsold rental cars, and that’s a big reason we can give you great deals.
